Dr. Neena Haider is a pioneering geneticist and founder of Shifa Precision, focused on transforming healthcare from reactive treatment to predictive, preventative care. A key contributor to the Human Genome Project, she identified over a dozen disease-associated genes linked to conditions such as blindness, kidney disorders, and autism, and went on to develop patented gene therapies for diseases like age-related macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa, and Stargardt disease, now in late-stage U.S. clinical trials. As Director of a research laboratory at Harvard Medical School from 2011 to 2023, she advanced therapies from discovery to clinical application.

Her work has earned FDA orphan disease designations and European regulatory approvals, offering hope for previously untreatable conditions.
